Water Walkers Story (Matthew 14)
Refreshing Prayer – mountain, flame, Jesus – Jesus was tired after feeding the great crowd. He dismissed the people, sent off his disciples, and went alone to pray.
Drowning Danger – rough seas, wind, boat – As the disciples sailed across the lake, a great wind arose. The disciples struggled to keep the sailboat upright.
Water Walking – waves, Jesus, Peter – Jesus came to them at 3am, walking on the water. They thought he was a ghost. Jesus gave Peter power to walk on water.
Peter’s Rescue – waves, Jesus, Peter – Standing on the seas, Peter became afraid and sank. Jesus rescued him, returned to the boat, and calmed the storm. The disciples worshipped Jesus as the Mighty Son of God.
