Devoted Companion – king, cloud, woman, flame – Let me tell you a story about friendship. King David wrote a song about God’s faithful presence. His Spirit is always with us.

Worldwide Glory – earth, cloud, flame, stars – David said there is nowhere on earth you can get away from the Spirit. God is at work everywhere; his light shines in the darkness.

Loving Creator – king, mother, baby, flag – God designs and creates us. He is with us from creation to death. He knows our future. His wisdom is beyond whatever we can imagine.

Battlefield Prayer – serpent, sword, running man, road, city – David was a warrior. He hated his enemies, desiring to destroy them. He ran from evil, praying for help in warfare.

Storyteller Discipleship

The following activities will help you remember the story, apply wisdom to your own life, and tell the story to others.

  • Pray. Listen to the story. Draw the story.

  • Tell the story with the drawings.

  • Draw my own pictures to illustrate the story.

  • Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal wisdom in the story.

  • Pray. What is the Holy Spirit asking me to do next?

  • Go and tell the story to someone. Discuss the story.

  • Disciple others to become Spirit-filled storytellers.
