Jesus’ Ascension Story (Acts 1)
Risen King – Jesus cross, crown, Risen Christ – Jesus spent 40 days with his disciples after the resurrection. He proved he was alive, and he explained God’s plans.
Fire Baptism – disciples, flames, cloud – Jesus told his disciples to remain in Jerusalem until they were baptized with the promised Holy Spirit’s presence.
World Mission – earth, stars, evangelist, flame – Jesus told his disciples not to worry about when he would return. He said they would be his witnesses worldwide.
Return Home – angel, cloud, Jesus – Jesus went home to heaven, disappearing in a cloud. Two angels appeared and prophesied about Jesus’ future return.
