Featured Story
I love the story of the beginning of our house church network in Memphis. I was part of the original house church that was started in 2013 by my friend and Co-laborer Zach that has now trained and multiplied leaders across the city, country and nations resulting in hundreds if not thousands of salvations over the past decade by the grace of God. Only the Lord knows the impact that our tiny network has had!
I came to Christ and was baptized in early April 2014 and was called by God to preach the gospel, but had no one to teach me what that meant or looked like. I moved to Memphis to go to the University of Memphis as an "undercover" student in order to preach the gospel and lead students to faith in Christ. It was there that I met my best friend John, mentored by Zach, and we blazed a trail across the campus earning the blessed titles of "heretic" or "odd" for our missionary zeal and our practice of baptizing new disciples on campus and starting house churches.
We have seen many churches started over the years here in Memphis. Some didn't make it past a few months old, some are still meeting today as I write this, yet the Kingdom of God is expanding... everyday believers are being equipped to make disciples and leaders are being developed to serve. We continue to cry out to the Lord and pray as He taught us, hallowed be Your Name! Your Kingdom come! Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Send laborers into Your Harvest!
