I had a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit back in 2016 when my family was experiencing a lot of spiritual attacks. During this season of my ministry, I was fully dedicated to using a very specific strategy for evangelism and church planting. I was very prideful, I wanted all the credit for my hard work in missions, and I would not work with other missionaries unless they agreed to use the same strategy as me and my team.
When I met the Holy Spirit, he began teaching me about the love of God, the wisdom of Jesus, the rest & freedom of the Holy Spirit, and the beautiful diversity of spiritual gifts. He taught me not to depend on myself, or seek my own glory in his Kingdom work. He showed me God's plan of orchestrating all the spiritual gifts working powerfully together both inside churches but out in the harvest fields.
This experience and massive shift in my own perspective of the Great Commission was a turning point for my ministry. The Holy Spirit invited me to launch my own missions agency and create a safe space for support-raising missionaries to freely follow Jesus and fulfill the Great Commission in unique ways. That's the origin story of Blazing Trees, and I'm blessed beyond anything I could imagine to host support-raising missionaries here in our ministry!
Mission Statement
My greatest passion is personal prayer & encouragement ministry with other leaders. I spend a lot of my time recording audio or writing personal prayer messages to send to investors and missionaries all over the world. It's my honor & privilege to manage the day-to-day business of our missions agency.
