Back in 1993, I took my first trip to the brand new, re-instituted country of Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union the previous year. This was not at all a Christian mission, but a one-month environmental exchange trip. However, through it, God was working in my heart to begin to see the lostness of the Russian people. At 21, it was my first trip out of the country, and it was a life-changing trip!

Shockingly though, it became even more life-changing as I was returning home and found out that three weeks earlier while I had been there my dad had unexpectedly died. It was at that time that I first really felt the loving arms of our Savior holding me as I sat on a curb in Red Square and felt otherwise completely alone.

Almost exactly 20 years later I got the opportunity to go on my first mission trip with e3 Partners, and a trip of healing, back to that same area of Russia. Through it God continued the process of preparing me for the work I am now doing.

A few years later, upon completing my 20 years service as a Naval Aviator, God called me into full-time missions work in Russia. Now I am privileged to get to lead several trips a year to Russia & Europe to reach the lost, make disciples, and help plant churches among these dear people!
