One-Eyed Six-Toed Tsega, one of our books, was completed months ago. We have it all set up for print in five languages. Plans were to start distribution in early January. Our dear friends/partners Ari and Alazar (Ethiopia - Life Overflowing or ELO) planned to fly to the Afar Region/Awash River Valley in Ethiopia January 4th to distribute books (with the help of an Afar-speaking translator). They were to visit/distribute Tsega to Afar children in the city areas, to the nomadic Afar in rural areas, and to the one church in the Awash Region. Much planning had gone into this trip and much would be invested.

Then there was a printing setback. I was disappointed, I'm ashamed to admit. The week before the trip I reached out to ELO to let them know we needed to put their plans on hold. Then the REAL purpose for the set-back was revealed to us. God's perfect timing...

On January 4th Ari messaged me with a plea for prayer. The Afar region had experienced multiple earthquakes and a volcanic eruption. The entire regions was being evacuated! If Tsega was printed on time, ELO would have followed through with their plans. They would have been evacuated before they even started their mission. Praise God for His perfect timing!
