Worthy Lamb Vision (Revelation 5)

Unworthy World – angel, grieving man, flame, tears – An angel called out for someone worthy to open the End Times scroll. No one was worthy, so John wept.

Worthy Wonder – bowing angel, throne, lamb, crown – An elder revealed the Worthy One: Jesus, Judah’s Lion. He is Yahweh’s Lamb. God gave Jesus the scroll.

Redeemer’s Song – cross, earth, crowns, stars – The elders, angels, and saints worshipped God’s Lamb. Jesus was slain to save the nations. Now, he reigns.

Enthroned & Honored – God, lamb, throne, light – Celebration and worship broke out, and all creatures in heaven and earth praised Jesus, glorifying God’s Son.

Noah’s Generation Story (Genesis 6:1-8)

Many Wives – man & pregnant wives – In Noah’s generation, humanity exploded with growth. Each man married many wives and produced dozens of children.

Breeding Giants – serpent & pregnant woman – God saw that the longer people lived, the more evil they became. He limited man’s life to 120 years. During this time, demons bred giants through human women.

Heartbroken God – king, earth, stars – God witnessed all humanity become exceedingly wicked. He grieved over his creation and decided to cleanse the planet.

Hope’s Flame – praying man, flame, heart, crown – One faithful man remained: Noah. He loved God and walked in the Holy Spirit. God would preserve his life.

Storytellers Sight

  • Compare Adam & Eve in Eden with this generation.

  • List examples of the very worst of human behavior.

  • Why do these actions still grieve God’s heart today?

  • In this generation, what was Satan’s strategy to prevent God’s Messiah from coming to defeat him?

  • What’s wrong with demons breeding human giants?

  • Have you ever grieved over a severed relationship?

  • How could Noah still be righteous in this generation?

Beyond Understanding Story (1 Corinthians 2)

Kingdom Ambassador – woman, flag, cloud, crown, flame – Paul said we don’t share Jesus in our strength or knowledge. We are humble messengers. We want everyone to experience God and depend upon him.

Hidden Path – closed door, path, Jesus, cloud – The Gospel is a mystery. The world lives by the devil’s polluted logic. Jesus reveals his perfect wisdom to us.

Resist Satan – serpent, cloud, man – Satan lies. He is a deception-weaving tyrant. We learn how to resist him.

Christ’s Spirit – shining dove, crown, flame – Jesus is God’s Truth. The Holy Spirit speaks to our inner spirit. Jesus’ Spirit helps us learn and live by God’s wisdom.

Storytellers Sight

  • Why is Jesus’ wisdom a mystery? Why is the Holy Spirit the only one who can reveal Jesus’ wisdom?

  • Have you ever discovered something was false after someone you trust said it was true? What happened?

  • How can you live for God without ever knowing him?

  • How does it feel for someone to misrepresent you?

  • Do you know someone who totally rejects the Bible?

  • How do we pray for someone to believe in Jesus?
